Me and my homie, Michael (IG: @mt.sacco) we're like spending weekend together in Bali for 4 days 3 nights before he heads back to his home in New York. Sooo faaar:(((
So now we're on the third day in Bali. Knowing that it's our last full day (tomorrow will be checking out from the hotel and back home) so I prepare my plan what to do today. I told Mike that we're going to visit GWK and Balangan beach one day before and he promised to wake up early (usually wake up at 9/10/11) if you struggle enough to wake him up. If no? Well...
At 8 am (I'm all awake and Michael is still on his nice nice sleep), I was about to prepare myself like shower, etc but then my other friend, Nady he comes to take his money his mother sent him through my account. So I'm like okay let's just leave Michael and hopefully he's awake after. So I walk with Nady to the nearest ATM from the hotel. Nady is my friend from Bandung, we don't spend holiday in Bali together, he came alone, I'm with Michael but we're like meeting in a sudden woah amazing.
After taking his money we chill in the lobby and I text Mike that I'm at the lobby with Nady AND he's awake, just amazing because it's 8.20 and for Michael, let's say it's very rare. We hang out for aboout 20 minutes and I decide myself to take shower.
Tada we're all ready to go but before, we're having lunch at this cute cafe at Jl. Legian but I forgot the name whoops
It was so nice. We got sandwiches and smooties. Soon after our lunch we try to rent a car from internet because we want to go to GWK and Balangan beach, which is far from Legian. It's Sunday so maybe our bad because we didn't book from days before aaaand after several websites we call, none of those sites have available car! Feeling hopeless because the time is ticking, I got frustated and Michael tries to calm me down and then suggest this place named Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak which isn't really far. So I'm like ok word let's grab a car (using Grab Car app) and then we go.
After about 20 minutes drive, we finnally arrive at this cool bar/cafe/pool/beach and soon we pick our place to sit, order drinks, having some chit chat etc and then we change our clothes into our swimming suits and jump into water! So cool because the pool has the beach scenery and so many bule here! After play inside water and getting a little bored we walk down to the beach and back to the pool and back to order food and have our dinner (still wearing our swimwear oops!) then change our clothes and back to the hotel. Finally get the feeling of our last day in Bali because it was just so hopeless hahahahaha! We take loads of pict of course. Take a look:
Nice huh? Yea so we grab a car again to take us back to hotel and on the way back, I don't know but Mike notices first "I think we've been here minutes ago" OMG we walk the same road like 3 times! The driver lives in Bali so we're like HOW COME???!!! He keeps on following his GPS Direction which we think is wrong, instead of following the direction given by the people who stay around the road. So ridiculous that we try so hard to hold our laughing. He was like "okay this way" "yap got it" "this time wouldn't be wrong" but STILL it's the same place after all and yeah after maybe idk 15 minutes struggling, we finally find our hotel building and "YAAAASH FINALLY" back into our hotel to get some rest before our flight tomorrow and bye bye:)
